En Lugo, a 23 de Noviembre de 2011

El 9 y 10 de noviembre tuvo lugar  en el Hotel Courtyard de Bruselas una reunión de los proyectos de innovación social y experimentación social de la convocatoria VP/2009/005 y VP/2010/007 del programa PROGRESS de la Comisión Europea en donde está incluido el Proyecto  ARS.

La presentación del acto fue realizada por la Subdirectora del Gabinete del Comisario Andor, Eva Török.

Olivier Rouland, DG EMPL y Peter Ramsdem, Experto,  plantearon los objetivos de la reunión, y las expectativas de la Comisión sobre los proyectos y sobre el desarrollo de los debates.

Los representantes de los proyectos de ambas convocatorias  explicaron y dialogaron con los demás sobre los objetivos, acciones y productos finales de su propio proyecto.

Como representantes del Proyecto ARS asistieron María González Vázquez, Directora  del Proyecto de la Fundación Camiña Social junto con el Asesor técnico José Ignacio Prieto Lois.

La existencia de mesas de debate permitió que se intercambiaran experiencias sobre las dificultades  encontradas por quienes ya están concluyendo su proyecto y las dudas que se plantean los que están iniciando el suyo, en lo que se refiere a la gestión y puesta en marcha de las acciones.

Para tratar de conseguir lo mejor de los proyectos se realizó un ejercicio consistente en imaginar los resultados y éxitos de cada uno de ellos, como si hubiera transcurrido un año desde su finalización, analizando las claves determinantes de ese resultado satisfactorio.

Finalmente se presentó la perspectiva actual de la Comisión respecto a la política europea de innovación y experimentación social, se proporcionó información detallada sobre metodología y se aclararon dudas sobre cuestiones legales y financieras que se plantean en el desarrollo de los proyectos.

In Lugo, November 23, 2011

On November 9th and 10th a meeting to discuss the social innovation and social experimentation projects was held at the Courtyard Hotel in Brussels. These projects, which include Project ARS, were approved by the European Commission under the calls for proposals VP/2009/005 and VP/2010/007 - PROGRESS Programme.

The Deputy Director of Cabinet of Commissioner Andor, Eva Török, performed the presentation ceremony.

Mr. Olivier Rouland, DG EMPL and Mr. Peter Ramsden, an acknowledged expert, explained the objectives of the meeting, along with the expectations of the Commission on the development of the projects.

Project representatives from both projects discussed the objectives, activities and final results of their own projects.

The representatives of the "ARS Project" were Maria González Vázquez, Project ARS Director of the Fundación Camiña Social, along with Technical Adviser José Ignacio Prieto Lois.

Round table discussions allowed all participants to exchange experiences, both about the difficulties in management and implementation encountered by those already completing their project, together with the concerns of those who are just starting their project.
In addition, in order to get the best of the projects, an exercise was carried out, designed to get the best results for the projects. This involved imagining that a year had passed and then projecting what the results and successes of each project would be. The key determinants leading to the successful outcomes were then analyzed.

Finally, the current view of the Commission on European Policy regarding innovation and social experimentation was presented. This was done along with detailed information on methodologies, together with clarification of legal and financial issues that arise in the development of projects.
